As some may know from having read the official Facebook page (ProDreamerZ), the seven year old computer that was used to produce the podcast has given up the ghost.
On retrospect, the low audio quality of the first few episode probably should have been a clue that it wasn’t quite ready for prime time. Lacking the technical expertise necessary to spot this, however, the machine was used anyway… using the logic that it must have been an operator, rather than a hardware issue.
Not having the budget for a new machine, the old iMac is scheduled to be taking in for repairs later today.
This post is being written on a cell phone, so if it is overly brief, I trust that those who follow BNN will understand and appreciate the difficulties we are going through.
That said, however, I think that making this post at all should be indicative of the fact that our standards remain high. Our schedule is NEVER something that is “optional”. If I have to write posts and create podcasts with nothing more with a pair of tin cans, a piece of string, and a cell phone, then that’s what will be done.
If we are reduced to nothing but rag weed and wine to get the buzz necessary, its what will be done…because that’s the kind of dedication that we stand for.
Fortunately, we’re not quite to that point. There is still a little bit of GSC in the bong…enough to make it through til Friday, when enough money will be available to pick up a lid and maybe a case of merlot. You know…enough to get through a few days until Sunday.
We’ll figure out Monday when it gets here.
Meanwhile, I think that’s become the official position of the White House:
Let me see if I can sum up:
There were no Russians. We know because Michael Cohen is a good and honorable man. We’ve known him for years and we think he’s just great.
Ok, there was one Russian, but it wasn’t at Trump tower.
Ok, there were three…ok, maybe five. Alright, you got me, there were either, but there wasn’t any collusion.
Fine, there were eight Russian spies, the Bolshoi Ballet, and the cast of Dr. Zhivago…. and maybe just an attempt at collusion. But is trying to commit a crime really a crime?
Ok, maybe it was a crime, but is that really so bad? Because Cohen was lying…Trump didn’t know about the meeting. We know because all of the people that he says were present during the recording confirm that the meeting never took place, and that the recording has been doctored. We know because we have the actual transcript of what was REALLY said…at the meeting that never took place.
Ok, Michael Cohen is a habitual liar, we’ve known this for years. If we ever said he wasn’t, its because we never knew him that well until the last few days, which is why we thought he was a good and decent man AND a habitual liar for years, but we never knew him that well until the last few days.
You know… the first lie that kids learn to tell is “I didn’t do it.”
The next lie that they learn to tell is always a remarkably convoluted excuse as to why, if they DID do it, it shouldn’t matter.
I think its official: The President and his lawyer are officially citing the same kind of BS that we might expect from a toddler.
And me? I’m just happy enough to still be able to report on it.
